Kobelco and CNH Global donate over $1 million in equipment, cash for Hurricane Katrina relief

Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. expresses its deep sympathy to those affected by Hurricane Katrina, which devastated several states along the Gulf Coast of the United States. To aid recovery, Kobelco will donate approximately $200,000 of construction equipment in cooperation with its global alliance partner, CNH Global N.V.

This contribution will be included in the more than $1 million of construction equipment that CNH will donate to support ongoing relief and restoration efforts related to Hurricane Katrina.

Kobelco and CNH pledge to lend their support for an early recovery of the devastated areas.
